Hey, I did not write a Devlog for the release of Rescue Maël !
So voilà !

(yes I'm french, and I don't write or speak english fluently. Sorry for the possible mistakes)

I finally released my graduation game last saturday (07/11/2020) and I hope you enjoy it! I passed my last year to make it, beetwen two month of confinement this spring and two month of a traineship this summer. This production in a chaotic climate  while I try to learn more about Unity was very trying. But I'm very happy : I finish it!

The game take approximately 10 minuts and looks like a short-movie because originally I make it for my animation school diploma. You'll find a lot in common with Scott Pilgrim-style universes, an alternation between gameplay and cinematics phases like in Sayonara Wild Heart or Dragon's Lair and you'll surely find other games, comics or films references which inspired me.

This game is talking about complicated teenage's relationship, night party, social unrest, space and a little bit of video games. I try to talk about personal things because it could be the last game a made completly alone without some constraints.

If I can, I could make the game playable directly on the itch.io page with a html build, but it would require additional production time, and now I'm a little exhausted and I already take time to looking for jobs. (I wish Rescue Maël ! will help me!)
